Abstract

Delusional parasitosis or Ekbom syndrome is a psychodermatosis, is determined by the delirious idea of ​​infestation by parasites; in which the patients self-harm in order to get rid of them. It is a challenge for the dermatologists to diagnose this syndrome and the management must be accompanied with psychiatry.
